Blower-powered air knives
The droplet air knife has a spherical hydrostatic chamber that gradually descends into a precise air discharge tank and is the industry standard for fan-driven air knives. While the average discharge coefficient of the round tube bore is 0.6(60% efficiency), the teardrop shaped air knife is usually 0.95(95% efficiency), which provides greater impact air velocity to the surface, and air is at the lowest fan motor power requirements. These tear drop designs can be used in extruded aluminum shapes, as well as prefabricated carbon and stainless steel.
